ALL THE NEWS THAT'S FIT TO PRINT, EXCEPT IN MEDINA WHERE THE POLITICIANS CONTROL THE "NEWS" CONTENT

The masthead of the New York Times once bore the inscription, "All the News That's Fit to Print," and may still.

Medina is "served" by that small-time attempt at journalism, The Medina Gazette that, in all honesty, appears to be operated by the Medina Chamber of Commerce.

Have you ever noticed that the Gazette has never exposed anything?  The Gazette  serves the primary function to stroke the egos of local politicians, including corrupt county prosecutor DINO HOLMAN and really corrupt judge CHRIS ("Just Call me BOY") COLLIER.

To make the point, a reader of this blog posted a Reader Comment in response to an online article at the Gazette website that included a link to this blog.  Specifically, Reader Comment #6 commented on the corruption in Medina County politics and linked to the blog.

Needless to say, many local residents have an interest in the public corruption in Medina and went directly to read the blog.

Well, this morning, I went to the web page of the Medina Gazette that featured the Reader Comment concerning the public corruption in Medina and the link to this blog, found at http://medinagazette.northcoastnow.com/2010/10/09/infla .

LO AND BEHOLD, THE READER COMMENT DECRYING PUBLIC CORRUPTION IN THE MEDINA, AND THE LINK TO THIS BLOG, WAS NO LONGER TO BE FOUND!

Interestingly, a reader comment from Russell Hopkins, describing DINO HOLMAN as an "honest" man remains.  Russell, who appears to be a HOLMAN booster, is actually one of DINO HOLMAN's employees.  HOLMAN is HONEST??? Either Russell needs a raise, or he has drunk the Kool-Aid.

I did have to laugh at the content of the "news" article, however, where HOLMAN denied taking part in any "secret" meeting with Township Trustee MIKE TODD in Columbus. You can bet that there was a meeting, but it wasn't really a "secret."  HOLMAN and TODD simply met in Columbus so nobody would know!

It's also a good bet that HOLMAN and TODD met in Columbus to seal the deal and grease the skids so HOLMAN could decide the outcome of the lawsuit filed by Bill Doraty in Medina Common Pleas Court.  Want to bet Doraty's case is assigned to COLLIER?

So there you have it, folks.  The Medina Gazette has undeniably demonstrated that, as a "news" organization, it is ruled by the local politicians and HAS NO JOURNALISTIC INTEGRITY!

HOLMAN AND COLLIER, IN THIS INSTANCE, HAVE DEMONSTRATED THAT THEY ARE NOW ASSAILING THE FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION! AND THE MEDINA GAZETTE IS COOPERATING FULLY!   THERE WILL BE NO END TO THE VIOLATION OF YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS UNTIL THESE CORRUPT POLITICAL HACKS ARE REMOVED FROM OFFICE.

PLANNING A MOVE TO MEDINA COUNTY? BETTER THINK TWICE!!

If you may be thinking about relocating to Medina County, you had better think twice. Locating your business or residence to Medina County is tantamount to an involuntary waiver of your Constitutional protections.

If you expect to receive equal protection under the law, you  might want to rethink your contemplated relocation to Medina County, Ohio.  You need only to look to the mission statement of the county prosecutor who has pledged to "punish defendants indicted for criminal offenses" in Medina County.

It has often been said, and it is true, that you can indict a ham sandwich.  In fact, the Medina County grand jury serves only to rubber-stamp the indictments presented to it by the prosecutor.  The proper function of the grand jury is to determine whether or not there is probable cause to bring an individual to trial.  The prosecutor therefore presents testimony favorable to his case, but the grand jury does not hear and weigh all the evidence.  Grand jury testimony is not tested in the crucible of cross-examination.

Dino Holman, the county prosecutor, subscribes to that age-old theory, "Let's give him a trial and then we'll hang him."  That, of course, is symptomatic of the BACKWOODS JUSTICE you will find in Medina County.

In fact, the county prosecutor is content to PUNISH citizens who were found to have probably committed a criminal offense by the grand jury, where the prosecutor presents and manipulates the uncontested testimony of his witnesses.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A PLACE WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE TO LIVE AND WORK?

Many suburbanites have fled urbanized areas and relocated to Medina County to avoid crime. Unfortunately, if you move to Medina you will find that there is an unseemly trade-off.  If you move to Medina County, you're trading your safety from criminal conduct by individuals for criminal conduct by the state, far more heinous than that which you sought to evade.

In Medina County, you are subjecting yourself to being arrested by sheriff's deputies on the basis of an uncorroborated and unconfirmed complaint from any source, without any competent investigation or other fact-finding inquiry.  You are subjecting yourself to the potential for being arrested without probable cause, to being denied access to legal counsel while being held in the Medina County Jail, to forfeiting your Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth and Fourteenth Amendment Rights, and being railroaded into prison by unethical and sleazy prosecutors and judges who are either simply incompetent or have been corrupted by their political allegiances.

I'd be thinking long and hard before relocating home, family, business, and employees to Medina County, Ohio!  At least the public corruption in Cuyahoga County is being addressed by competent authority.  We can only hope the Federal Government turns its sights on the grime and corruption in the Medina County court system!!!

It's time, once again, for a short quiz.  But first, let me set the stage:

judge COLLIER  and Dino Holman, the county prosecutor, were afloat on a vessel with 14 other passengers, some 26 out to sea from the North Carolina coast.  The craft, floundering in rough seas, was surrounded by a school of Bull Sharks, serious predators who are know to be extremely dangerous to humans.  Eventually, the vessel began to take on water and it became obvious to all that the craft was about to go under.  All passengers and crew donned life vests and jumped into the water.  Then, without warning, the school of Bull Sharks attacked and decimated the crew and passengers alike.  Only COLLIER and HOLMAN survived the attack of the marauding school of sharks, virtually untouched.

QUESTION:  Why did the sharks spare only COLLIER and HOLMAN?

ANSWER:  Professional courtesy!

REPUBLICAN COLLIER WINS BY LANDSLIDE, MEDINA DEMS DOING HANDSTANDS AS A RESULT

One again, corrupt Medina County judge CHRISTOPHER COLLIER won election to another six-year term to the Medina County Court of Common Pleas by a landslide.  Although, you didn't need a  crystal ball to see this coming.

Medina County Dems, including Dem prosecutor DINO HOLMAN, are so happy they are high-fiving and doing handstands in the hallowed halls of the Medina County Courthouse/Railroad Station.  The Dems, for a third straight term, can rightfully lay claim to the fact that they retain their stronghold on the Medina County Court of Common Pleas.

After all, since COLLIER is subservient to HOLMAN, HOLMAN is now comfortably assured of being able to decide the fates and the punishments of everyone INDICTED by his grand jury by dictating convictions and sentences to COLLIER.

The status quo persists. HOLMAN effectively remains the prosecutor, judge, and jury in the Medina County Court of Common Pleas!  Now that's real Medina County "justice" for you.

It was certainly another hard-fought battle for COLLIER, even though he had no opposition in another  rigged Medina County election.

I can only imagine how many citizens COLLIER had to deprive of their rights and how many innocent citizens he had to railroad, just to please HOLMAN.  That, of course, in addition to all the bowing,  scraping, and groveling he had to do before HOLMAN in order to secure an opposition-free election.

There is, however, one bright spot in the current election season. MIKE DEWINE has won election to the post of Attorney General of the State of Ohio.  I am sure that COLLIER and HOLMAN are none to happy about that, since Attorney General-elect DEWINE has pledged to go after public corruption wherever he finds it, no matter whether the offenders are Democrats or Republicans, as is the case in Medina County!

You can be assured that Mr. DeWine will be hearing from me real soon!  We shall all soon see whether he lives up to his campaign pledge!  If so, it may soon be a new day for the citizens of Medina County and we may very well see the return of the Rule of Law!

WHERE DO THEY COME UP WITH THESE PEOPLE?

Before I continue with the saga of the grime and corruption at the Medina County courthouse, I have to ask myself, "Where do they come up with these people?"  That is a rhetorical question, to be sure.  I do wonder, however, why politics seems to draw so many unethical, immoral, sleazy individuals.

I suppose that many of them cannot survive by earning a living in the real world and become entrenched in political jobs where there is little or no oversight and supervision, and there is no accountability.  It's really a puzzle to me.

What has ever happened to decent, moral, ethical people who are God-fearing and who are motivated to serve their communities?  They must be out there somewhere, just not in the Medina County courthouse.

In an upcoming post at this blog on November 10, 2010, you will find out just what the staff at the Medina County prosecutor's office think about God!  As you will see then, there is absolutely no apparent morality to be found there.  That fact, of course, comes as no surprise.

As a commonly accepted axiom, I posit no God, no morality, NO RIGHTS!

It is often said that citizens get the government they deserve.  Even taking into account public apathy, NOBODY DESERVES WHAT HAS EVOLVED IN MEDINA COUNTY!

It seems to me that the best way to address this issue is to THROW ALL THE BUMS OUT!  That, however, is not presently a viable solution because some of the bums, like COLLIER, "run" unopposed.  By default, we will be stuck with COLLIER for another six-year term unless there is an intervention by the U.S. Department of Justice.  A criminal prosecution would seem to do the trick quite nicely, thank you very much.

A competent Federal investigation, followed by Federal prosecutions supported by competent evidence, seems to be the only immediate remedy to restore integrity at the courthouse.

I will be more than delighted to testify, on behalf of the Government, at the trials of these corrupt political hacks!

Surely, there must be some decent, ethical attorneys out there willing to serve the public good and who hold the United States Constitution and the laws of the land sacrosanct, unlike the current crop of bottom feeders who occupy space and exchange otherwise good air at the Medina County courthouse, simply suck off the public teat, and deprive you of your constitutional rights!

TODAY'S BACK ROOM DEAL IN CORRUPT MEDINA POLITICS

If you have voted today in the Medina County General Election, you will have noted that only two "candidates" are "running" for public office unopposed in this county, one Republican and one Democrat.

The Republicans are "running" corrupt judge CHRISTOPHER COLLIER unopposed, while the "Democrats" are "running" the County Auditor, unopposed.

I withheld my vote from both, lest either presume that he has a public mandate.

So there it is, publicly exposed.  Tit for tat, quid pro quo!

The back room deal cut by Republicans and Democrats, obviously contrary to the law, permits each political party to trade off one elected office for another.

The victims?  Just you, the electorate!

Did you think the deprivation of your Constitutional Rights affects only those appearing in the corrupt courts of Medina County?

Perhaps you need to rethink that position. They take one right after another, until there are none left! Presently, you  are being deprived of your Constitutional Right to choose public office-holders in Medina County.

DO YOU THINK MEDINA POLITICIANS WILL REALLY POLICE THEMSELVES?

In the prior segment of this blog you have seen the remarks of congressional candidate and Medina politico James Renacci, who maintains that civil rights issues are best resolved by local government. Now there's a deep thinker, for you.

I'm not too sure what Renacci was smoking when he made that statement, since the "local government" has failed to safeguard your Constitutional Rights for many years, up to and including the present time.  In fact, as in all such matters, the corruption and erosion of your civil rights has only gotten worse over time.

I, however, in the spirit of fairness (something you will never find in the Medina County injustice system), have decided to give Renacci's proposal a try.

So, on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, I sent identical email messages to Medina County Commissioners Steven Hambley and Sharon Ray, requesting their intervention in this matter.  There was no need to send the message to Commissioner Patricia Geissman, who has already demonstrated that public corruption in Medina County does not concern her one bit.

So far, no response has been received from Hambley or Ray.  Just what does that tell you? They are certainly not part of the solution to the problem of public corruption in Medina County.

It appears to me that Renacci's proposal to let the local government address your civil rights is a flop.  His proposal has not worked up until now and, judging by the lack of response from Steve Hambley and Sharon Ray, it will not work in the future.

Displayed below is the email to Hambley and Ray:

TOMORROW IS JUST ANOTHER DAY IN MEDINA POLITICS

I am obviously disquieted by the level of grime and corruption in Medina County politics.  Nevertheless, I plan to vote tomorrow, but with a plan!

It is my intention to do the very best to throw all the bums out!

My intention is to VOTE AGAINST every incumbent save one, John Boccieri.  I just can't see sending anyone like Renacci, with ties to the grime and corruption of Medina politics, to Washington.  As far as I am concerned, Renacci should spend his time opening a new automobile dealership, maybe selling a brand like Yugo.

I intend to  VOTE FOR every challenger to every incumbent,

I intend to WITHOLD my vote for any incumbent who is "running" unopposed, and I urge you to do the same!

Based on what I have discovered in COLLIER's political history at the Medina County Board of Elections, anyone who runs unopposed for political office in Medina county is suspect.  The lack of opposition for any elected office smacks of back room, sweetheart deals between the local Democrat and Republican "power brokers."

One thing is certain, COLLIER won't be biting his fingernails worrying about his chances for re-election, thanks to one of those back room,  sweetheart deals!

However COLLIER  and HOLMAN may very well be viewing the election results with some trepidation.  Mike DeWine has pledged that, if elected to the Office of Attorney General of the State of Ohio, he will go after public corruption wherever it can be found, among Democrats and Republicans alike.  DeWine won't have far to look.  You can bet if DeWine wins the election, I'll be knocking at his door on November 3!
