HERE'S HOW COUNTY PROSECUTORS DINO HOEMAN AND KEVIN BAXTER, BOTH TOTALLY CORRUPT, CONTINUE TO SWEEP CORRUPTION UNDER THE RUG

It is no secret to regular readers of this blog the blogger considers Medina County Prosecutor DINO HOEMAN and his best bud, Erie County Prosecutor KEVIN BAXTER to be completely corrupt.  Both are sleazy Democrat politicians, unlike HOEMAN'S LAPDOG, CHRIS CALAFATO-COLLIER, a sleazy Republican.  Not that LAPDOG JUDGE COLLIER  is really a politician, since he has never campaigned for anything, given the fact that the Medina County Dems have handed him an unopposed lifetime seat on the Medina County Bench in a sweetheart deal with Medina County Dems.  LAPDOG COLLIER  is just sleazy, plain and simple, for a whole host of reasons.

Of course, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, a Republican really sleazy politician, has no small part to play in perpetuating public corruption in Ohio among his sleazy Republican cronies, including Medina County.  More about Dewine, another slug Republican politician in a future post at this blog.

The reality is that, in Medina County, political corruption has merged both of these two purported "parties" into a common union, otherwise known as MEDINA COUNTY REPUBLICRATS.

In order to conceal the filth of their corruption, HOEMAN and BAXTER rely upon one another, a symbiotic relationship.

In March 2014, BAXTER called upon HOEMAN to work out another sweetheart deal in Erie County with another of BAXTER'S best buds, a thieving dirtball identified as Joseph Yost, who is reported to have collected water payments from residents of the Sandusky, Ohio Hoppers Mobile Home Park, but forgot  to send those payments to the City of Sandusky to the tune of $260,000.00.

In the eyes of BAXTER, and by default DINO HOEMAN, this was just a minor oversight by Yost.

As a result of the arrearage in the amount of $260,000.00, the City of Sandusky cut off the water supply to Hoppers Mobile Home Court, leaving the residents without water and their mobile homes uninhabitable as a result.

This typical example of  public corruption is reported in an online article published by the Sandusky Register, found at http://www.sanduskyregister.com/article/hoppers-mobile-home-park/5449571

Although the article is silent, it seems certain that all of these mobile homes were condemned as unlivable due to the lack of water.  Accordingly, all of the residents, most likely lower income families, were forced to relocate, losing whatever equity they may have had in their condemned mobile homes.

The article reports that, instead of going to trial for this theft of $260,000.00, HOEMAN worked out a sweetheart deal to save Yost, BAXTER'S best bud, from facing any jail or prison time and, instead, offered Yost the opportunity to enter a pre-trial diversion program.  If Yost is a good boy in the near term, and refrains from stealing another $260,000.00, all will be forgiven and forgotten.

The article points out a poignant remark from Erie County Judge Roger Binnette, who seems to be interested in justice, unlike HOEMAN and his LAPDOG JUDGE COLLIER.
Erie County Common Pleas Court Judge Roger Binette argued that Hoppers residents were victims, too, and as such they deserve a say in Yost’s punishment.
“The city is probably looking for restitution from the defendant, that’s why they’re satisfied with the diversion,” Binette said. “Then again, the city is the one that shut down the trailer park and bulldozed all those trailer homes. The residents of those mobile homes, this court considers … victims”
Here is where HOEMAN demonstrates the true Republicrat sleaze factor which is and has been the hallmark of his career in public dis-service.  According to the news article:
Prosecutor Holman, however, didn’t see the connection between Yost’s alleged theft and the fact that residents were forced from their homes.
“A mobile home park was bulldozed for $2,700? I’m not aware of that” Holman said.
“I just don’t know how that fits within the scope of the indictment for the theft of money,” Holman said. “I don’t understand how that leads to a mobile home being bulldozed”
The ultimate conclusion of HOEMAN'S remarks:  "Piss on the poor people victimized by the sleazy best bud of his sleazy best bud, Kevin Baxter."

Perhaps comments from readers submitted to the Sandusky Register says it best.

Good for you Ms. Cole. This is an example of Prosecutor Kevin Baxter bringing in his friend Dean Holman from Medina County to act as special prosecutor to help another friend of his Mr. Yost. Mr. Yost was IMO under indicted in the first place. Also, by what authority does Baxter have the right to use another county's full time prosecutor in Erie County to cut a deal for one of his friends?

If ever a case required an independent special prosecutor from DeWine's office instead of a politicized prosecutor, it was this case. Also why does Erie County Commissioners continue to allow Baxter to appoint special prosecutors in Erie County without their approval as required by law and why isn't the City of Sandusky through Law Director Icsman speaking up about his thefts and looking out for its citizens?

Judge Binette ought to sentence this man to the maximum time if he accepts the plea to send a message to the community that there is equal justice under the law.

"likely include the requirement he pay the city back for his delinquent bills"? This statement from the srticle really, really bothers me out of anything else that was said. While it's a possibility that it means that if he's placed in this diversion program that he MAY have to pay back the over a quarter of a million dollars to the city and/or county it ALSO means that there's a very REAL possibility that he MAY NOT have to pay it back! I agree with Ms. Cole on this one, even though while in jail it'll take years to get the money back, once he's in jail every piece of property he owns or has his name on can be sold off and the money can be put towards the bill and then his $0.18 a day or whatever it is that they make while in jail he can put that towards his bill too. His victims ought to have some justice in this, they deserve this and in my opinion I don't see that they're going to be getting any with a plea bargain.

That's how KEVIN BAXTER and DINO HOEMAN do it.

This calls to mind the fact that DINO HOEMAN has since called upon KEVIN BAXTER to "investigate" another sleazy crony of HOEMAN, Medina County Auditor Mike Kovack who has been accused of violating the laws of the State of Ohio under the color of his office.

HOW DO YOU SUPPOSE THAT "INVESTIGATION" WILL TURN OUT?

IT'S INTERESTING THAT ALL OF THESE POLITICALLY MOTIVATED ALLEGED "INVESTIGATIONS" ARE BEING "CONDUCTED" BY ATTORNEYS RATHER THAN INDEPENDENT, QUALIFIED, COMPETENT INVESTIGATORS.  BCI DOESN'T COUNT AMONG THEM SINCE THEY DO NO MORE THAN BOW TO THE POLITICAL WHIMS OF DEWINE, RATHER LIKE DEWINE'S SECRET POLICE.
