AUDITOR MIKE IS ABOUT AS HONEST AS A 3-MINUTE EGG !

It is often said that a person "is as honest as the day is long."  Applying that same standard to AUDITOR MIKE, it is obvious that AUDITOR MIKE IS AS HONEST AS A 3-MINUTE EGG.

In the post published just yesterday at this blog, the blogger accurately reported that AUDITOR MIKE ASSIGNED BLAME FOR THE LOADS OF RUSSIAN PORN ON HIS MEDINA COUNTY COMPUTER ON HIS 11 YEAR-OLD SON!

The blogger pointed out how even Stevie Wonder could see through that wildly preposterous excuse!

AUDITOR MIKE apparently realized that no one was buying it, so like the typically sleazy Medina County Republicrat that he is, AUDITOR MIKE HAS CHANGED HIS STORY (IMPROBABLE EXCUSE) !

AUDITOR MIKE has retained the services of Medina Attorney Steve Bailey, who has been described to the blogger as one of the few, in fact very few, honest attorneys in Medina.

 

In yesterday's MEDINA GASSETTE Attorney Steve Bailey is quoted:

Kovack’s attorney, Steve Bailey, said Kovack was unaware of the pornographic files on his computer until Ehrlich told him about them.

Bailey said Kovack suspects the pornography was downloaded in 2008 when he spent eight months in a Washington, D.C., hotel room during a naval assignment as a member of the U.S. Navy Reserves.

For about six months, Bailey said Kovack had a roommate, who he allowed to use the laptop to send emails and surf the Internet.

“His best speculation is that it was his roommate, because he has no idea how it could have gotten there,” Bailey said.

Bailey said Kovack instructed Ehrlich to delete the pornography files.

THIS IS JUST ONE MORE IMPLAUSIBLE EXCUSE FROM AUDITOR MIKE, SINCE PLACING BLAME FOR THE PORN ON HIS 11 YEAR-OLD SON JUST DIDN'T FLY!

Perhaps we should examine the gaping holes in this latest version of AUDITOR MIKE'S WILDLY PREPOSTEROUS EXCUSES.

Firstly, Medina County issued a laptop computer for use in the official business of Medina County only!  If AUDITOR MIKE had been on military leave from his office as Medina County Auditor, there would not have been any official Medina County business to conduct.  Therefore, there would have been no need for AUDITOR MIKE to take his Medina County computer to Washington, D.C.

According to AUDITOR MIKE'S IT Specialist, WHO AUDITOR MIKE IS TRYING TO FIRE BECAUSE SHE IS AN HONEST PUBLIC EMPLOYEE, UNLIKE AUDITOR MIKE, THERE WAS A WHOLE LOT OF RUSSIAN PORN ON AUDITOR MIKE'S MEDINA COUNTY LAPTOP.

Turning once again to the MEDINA GASSETTE article:

Ehrlich told a Gazette reporter Wednesday that she discovered the pornography on Kovack’s laptop, which was infected with a computer virus.

 

“There were hundreds, maybe thousands, of pictures,” Ehrlich said. “Some of the files were very disturbing.

We can conclude from Ms. Ehrlich's remarks that the "hundreds, maybe thousands, of pictures" were not residing on AUDITOR MIKE'S Medina County laptop by mistake or accident.

JUST WHO WAS AUDITOR MIKE'S UNNAMED ROOMMATE?  Perhaps one of the "models" from the THOUSANDS OF RUSSIAN PORN PICS ON AUDITOR MIKE'S MEDINA COUNTY LAPTOP!

IT IS MUCH EASIER FOR AUDITOR MIKE TO PLACE THE BLAME FOR HIS PORNOGRAPHIC INDISCRETIONS ON A FACELESS, NAMELESS PHANTOM "ROOMMATE" RATHER THAN HIS 11 YEAR-OLD SON, AS HE DID EARLIER !

There follows an interesting contradiction in the "story."

Initially, Ken Bacca, another goofy buffoon from the Medina County Sheriff's Office, threw his two cents into the controversy:

Medina County Sheriff’s Capt. Kenneth Baca said his detectives launched their investigation in April and sent results of the investigation to Erie County Prosecutor Kevin Baxter, who was appointed to serve as a special prosecutor in the case after Medina County Prosecutor Dean Holman recused himself from the investigation.

WHAT INVESTIGATION?  Setting aside the fact that "his detectives" are incapable of conducting more than a 36-minute "investigation," the blogger earlier reported that one of the brighter of the sheriff's "detectives" instructed one of AUDITOR MIKE'S EMPLOYEES TO DEVELOP SOME MORE EVIDENCE AND REPORT BACK TO HIM.  QUITE AN INVESTIGATION, INDEED!

The MEDINA GASSETTE article goes on to report the comments from DINO HOEMAN'S BEST BUD, SLEAZY ERIE COUNTY PROSECUTOR KEVIN BAXTER:

Baxter criticized the commissioners for publicizing the allegations, saying they could impede his investigation.

BAXTER claims it is "his investigation."

THE FUNDAMENTAL QUESTION ARISES AS TO JUST WHO IS CONDUCTING AN INVESTIGATION OF AUDITOR MIKE'S ALLEGED MISCONDUCT.

THE SHORT ANSWER IS "NOBODY!"
