       Inspector Hartman, Who Operates a Blog Exposing the Corruption Endemic in the Medina County “Justice System, Has Received an Estimated 400 Offensive Electronic Messages From “Publius,” who Has a Vested Interest in Shutting Down the Blog.                                                                                                                                                  

In October 2010 Inspector Hartman, using the pen name “Miguel Sword,” began publishing a blog exposing the corruption endemic in the Medina County “Justice” System.  Primarily, the blog exposed the conduct of Judge Collier, whose rulings prior to and at trial failed to comport with controlling authorities (including the U.S. Supreme Court), and that of assistant Medina County prosecutor Scott Salisbury, who withheld Brady evidence and engaged in other egregious, underhanded, and unethical practices throughout both of Defendant’ trials. The blog also exposes abuses by Medina County Prosecutor Dean Holman, who fosters and promotes the misconduct of his assistants, as evidenced by allegations of prosecutorial misconduct raised over and again by various appellants and found by the Court of Appeals, and his lack of remedial action to curb the recurrent abuses of his assistants.  Eventually, as he received information from the public, Inspector Hartman also turned his attention to public corruption of other Medina County public officials.

Inspector Hartman has received an estimated 400 offensive electronic messages from an individual who identified himself alternatively as “Publius,” “Leperchaun (sic) Sam,” “Steve Martinez-johnson,” “Angus 666,” and other various pseudonyms.   Those offensive messages, sent by a person who obviously had a vested interest in having Inspector Hartman delete his blog, were intended to intimidate, threaten, and pressure Inspector Hartman to shut down his blog.  The offensive electronic messages were directed to Inspector Hartman by various means, including email messages sent directly to Inspector Hartman at his blog and by postings at Craigslist.org aimed squarely at Inspector Hartman.

The offensive electronic messages included information pertaining to Defendant’s Trial I proceedings, not publicly known, which demonstrate intimate knowledge of the case and, in part, constitute admissions against self-interest.  The messages also contained threats and taunts directed at Inspector Hartman, as well as attempts to suppress the blog.  Many of the messages were laced with racial pejoratives, vulgarity, and profanity.

The available evidence strongly suggests that Judge Christopher Collier, whom Inspector Hartman openly criticized at his blog, sent the offensive electronic messages to Inspector Hartman as shown herein.  A representative sample of the “Publius’” offensive electronic messages to Inspector Hartman is presented below.
